PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Associated Press   Washington, DC   2000-Present

        As a Software Support Specialist, I travel around the country to television and radios stations, installing newsroom computer software, training their users, and taking the station to air with their new product.  This involves integrating our software into many different network architectures.  In addition, I help provide 24-hour support for the newsroom software. 

 

WSBA  910 AM/WARM 103 FM   York, PA   1995-1999

        I served as a news and sports broadcaster/writer for morning drive, hosting the “Early Morning News Hour.”  As a Reporter, my assignments included covering Baltimore Orioles spring training & the Pennsylvania High School Basketball Championships.  Some of my other daily activities involved the creation and production of commercial and promotional spots, updating the station’s website, and acting as a promoter at station sponsored events.  I was honored as Employee of the Month in March of 1999.

 

WFNM 89.1 FM   Lancaster, PA   1990-1995

        During college I served as Play-By-Play & Color Commentator for football, basketball, & baseball, as well as Co-hosting and producing a weekly, two-hour, call-in sports talk show.  Some of my other duties at the radio station included, General Manager, Music Coordinator, Production Manager, & Training Director.

        I wrote a weekly commentary on Franklin & Marshall College sports.

        I was the Operations and Productions Manager, and a night manager.

        I raised money for tuition as a new car salesperson.
